I was born in the Alps and, at first, I had absolutely no connection with the world of knife making. I was a sports student and a kayak champion, spending five years on the national team.
After a while, I left college and moved to Thiers to learn the craft of knife making. I had the privilege of being an apprentice to Manu Laplace, a true master in the field.
I spent a few years working in a factory to pay for my first machines, and in 2014 I launched my first model: the Névé. From there, new designs kept coming…
My style is heavily inspired by the mountain rivers of the Alps. I’m also a big fan of unusual materials like fossilized cave lion tooth, shark vertebrae, meteorite… the weirder, the better.
In 2022, I started forging my own Damascus steel and I’m currently diving into the art of engraving to take my pieces to the next level.
