My name is Carlos Sanz, creator of the Aceros Valhalla brand.

My love affair with knives started at a very early age, because of my father, who was a knife enthusiast. In my early days I just used them, that’s all. When I grew up, I began to train in close combat, both in tactical knives and throwing knives, as well as in different Japanese weapons, especially katanas and wakizashis.

It was at the end of 2019 when, by chance, I discovered a programme on TV where 4 blacksmiths were competing in knife forging. And it was just at that time that I started to make my own knives, making kitchen cutlery as well.

3 years later I am a full-time blacksmith, specialising in tactical combat knives and bushcraft.
